After the control centers in Vienna, Burgenland and Styria, the Salzburg control center is now the 4th Austrian control center to receive the standardized emergency call query from NoraTec GmbH with DIASweb.
With almost 1000 dispatches a day for almost 175 emergency vehicles and 3 rescue helicopters, the Salzburg regional control center serves around 540,000 inhabitants – plus numerous tourists in the well-known vacation destination. The regional control center has two locations, Salzburg City (North) and Zell am See (South), with a total of 26 command posts and 42 qualified employees who are on duty 24 hours a day.
